WUTHERED (2025)

ROLE: Editor, Social Media Editor, DIT

SYNOPSIS: Aspiring actress Alison is offered the role of the lifetime - on the basis she gets her face surgically swapped with another woman, who the casting panel deem more attractive.

Wuthered is one of my graduation films. We wanted the edit to parallel the hyper realistic style of the film. In order to do that, I allowed myself to play around with multiple timelines and switch the narrative around as much as possible. I tried cutting, elongating and transforming scenes to the extreme, and then picked which bits I think worked well with the film. I essentially ignored a lot of the rules of thumb to find interesting reactions and bring together the world of Wuthered.

BOWL (2025)

ROLE: Editor, Social Media Editor

SYNOPSIS: Arthur is an elderly, quick-witted, gay man who has recently been diagnosed with arthritis. Upon finding out that his old foe and competitor Norma is is playing in the upcoming lawn bowls charity match, Arthur seeks the chance to prove himself.

Bowl is one of my graduation films. I had worked with director John Kelbie on multiple previous project, and it was wonderful being able to create Bowl with him and the team. A crucial part of the film we worked hard on was the montage. John had loads of materials to hand over to me to help me visualise the idea he had. After laying out a base, I played around with ways to make it feel more camp and work with the overall pacing of the film.

FRESHER'S (2024)

ROLES: Editor, Director, Writer of Fresher's segment.

SYNOPSIS: Marie moves to Edinburgh to escape her family's past and gets roofied on her first night out after starting university.

I worked with the Screenagers team on this feature anthology for over 2 years. Being able to work with a US-based team and going back and forth between the UK and US team workflow was a challenge and I am grateful for all the skills and friends I made thanks to this project. Working on a feature was a lot of work and fun!

NECROPOLIS MUNRO (2023)

ROLE: Editor

Worked with writer director Kyle Craig to bring a social realist depiction of Scottish urban life and addiction.
